CITCON 2007
After watching Accepted again (since Jackie hasn’t seen it) after CITCON. It suddenly dawned on me, the way they came up with the curriculum for South Harmon Institute of Technology (SHIT) is exactly the spirit of open space used in CITCON.

SecurityFocus is reporting the same trend that I noted. Let’s hope it will be a short-lived phase as reported.

Sydney harbour bridge
I had the pleasure of walking across Sydney harbour bridge, but it wasn’t by choice, I was forced to walk in order to get to work because the train broke down at the last station before the bridge. Coincidentally today was the coldest day in the history of Sydney since 1950. You can always count on CityRail failing when it is raining, I guess it can’t deal with cold temperature as well...

Coworking space
This coworking space is a brilliant idea. The sydney rails coworking space for freelancers are already in motion. Even if I am not freelancing if work permits (pending on how flexible the employer is) I wouldn’t mind go work in coworking space every now and then.

Sandisk cruzer micro 4gb
I was so impressed with my Sandisk cruzer micro 512MB because it withstood the test of my daughter’s drooling & sucking I decided to get another Sandisk when I upgrade. So I had my eye on the micro 4gb stick for a while, I considered the titanium version, which is stronger (titanium shell) and faster (tho no official stats from Sandisk) but given my old micro was plenty tough I decided...

Build light
I like lava lamp, they look nice as build lights but they are more of a hassle to setup (especially in OZ since all the plugs and sockets you get from the US is different) or they are against workplace health & safety policies. But more importantly I always thought all we need for build light is just a spare PC and monitor. Check out build-o-matic and team-piazza (thanks to Nat). Pity...

Writing my own game for Wii
Now this is much more exciting than iPhone release! Nintendo is opening Wii to developers! That’s very cool, maybe I’ll be able to recreate some simple classic arcade games that I like.
